Severino

Emanuele Severino (1929 is an Italian philosopher of world renown. He obtained his degree from the University of Pavia. Later on he taught at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan, and from 1970 to 2001 at Venice’s Ca’ Foscari University, where he is now Professor Emeritus of Theoretical philosophy. He currently teaches Fundamental ontology at the Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele in Milan, and is a member of the Accademia dei Lincei. His works are translated into many languages.
